@maxliani I generally refer to the company name on the employment contract I had. Depends on the context though ... if I'm speaking with someone who will know the new branding and have no clue about the old branding, I'd probably just use the new name to keep the conversation moving.

Cynically awaiting a future news story about a covert massive sell of the market right before Trump's tariffs were announced followed by a massive buy right before Trump's tariffs were paused/reduced. I can't help but imagine he's intentionally manipulating the market.

I still don't like upscaling. That goes for spatial as well as temporal, although temporal is usually the more visually objectionable.

@robpieke My partner and I both have Gmail. Sometimes, when he emails me, it just doesn't turn up. He doesn't get a bounce back but I don't get it, not in spam or promotions or anything. No idea why not

In the last few weeks I've had three different order/confirmation emails (from three different companies) supposedly sent to my GMail account but never received. Not in Spam, not in Bin, just nowhere to be found. Is this a known thing? I can't find anything on Google re this.

@sze9wei It was probably a decade ago (or more), but I remember a panel discussion at SIGGRAPH that included Dennis Muren where he said something along the lines of: if he was a kid again *today*, he wouldn't join the industry because it isn't the same playground of unsolved problems now.
