@robrieguez@MaryLouMcDonald We have the same problem created by household waste at a local landfill site in landlocked Accrington.

Great to see so many people out enjoying the Active Travel Network this morning! With 314km of high quality walking and cycling infrastructure, the network will connect communities all across Dublin City! #ActiveTravelNetwork
But don't worry, all nice and clean again! Thanks to all our crews who work through the night to make sure the city looks well when the rest of us wake up each morning
@muckydunne@DubCityCouncil Yep, becoming more grim by the day. Topped off by seagulls screaming 21 hours a day and ripping bins apart. But don’t worry, our GDP is great, so don’t worry about it
Dublin City Council is working on exciting plans to revitalise the historic heart of Dublin – College Green – into a vibrant, attractive destination for everyone to enjoy.
A space that provides not only a place to shop, work, gather and celebrate, but also a space to pause, breathe and connect.💚

@DubCityCouncil gulls are ruining the area. Both with property damage and noise pollution. We are nowhere near the coast. Something needs to be done. Please respond
Last Thursday, we launched the Talbot St Public Realm Improvements Scheme to rejuvenate the area. Initiatives that were introduced along the street include:
- Improved paths and road surfaces for better traffic flow and accessibility for pedestrians and cyclists
- Upgraded public street lighting for enhanced visibility and safety at night
- Feature lighting on Talbot St bridge and Festoon Lighting to create a welcoming atmosphere
- New green spaces to soften the urban landscape
- Pop-up uses for vacant buildings, including temporary shops and artistic spaces
- Enhanced shopfronts for a cohesive and attractive visual identity
🌟 Let's make Talbot St a vibrant place!
@McDaddy99@GardaTraffic Ban them altogether at this point. When they first came out they were all limited to 25kph (the ubiquitous Xiaomi ones) Now there are models capable of 60kph and higher, ridden by absolute idiots with no road sense
@GardaTraffic What's the specific law broken here? That it was on the road? Has an electric battery? What about the seat? Bicycles have seats. Please explain.
Bad buzz.
Gardaí in Cork City pulled in the two teenagers that were travelling on this e-scooter in the middle of a main, public road this afternoon.
It was seized and the owner given a €100 fine - €50 for carrying a passenger and €50 for having a seat on it.

Dublin City Council wants as many adults as possible to enjoy cycling in the city safely and with confidence. If you have a group of 10 or more people interested in cycle training, get in touch! For more information, see dublincity.ie/residential/tr…#CycleDublin
JOHN MCGUIRK: "There is no reason to believe that at any time, Eoin Hayes has been anything other than absolutely sincere in his hatred and loathing for the State of Israel.
But that's not enough, in this students union dressed up as a country."
