The best part is I’ll burn at least 20 cords of wood heating my home this winter (it’s a big house so I run multiple wood stoves) if heating oil was more affordable I would just run that and put out a fraction of the emissions A heat pump, which is just an air conditioner in reverse, will not work where I live, it can’t keep up Well that’s not exactly true there are heat pumps that would work but they start at around $50k so I would never get my moneys worth out of it

It's been brutally cold in Eastern Canada for weeks. Temperatures hitting -40. Sometimes I drive 400-500km a day. Tell me how well an EV would work for me.... I'll wait.
