Just try Composer 2:
→ for new apps, it makes WAY cleaner and smarter code than Opus and Codex
→ makes reducers, respects clean code
→ respects the UI and features I ask for perfectly

the app being used to build and render said apps was also made using composer 2 :) personally think it's not half bad with UI!

Composer 2 is not the best at cooking, which is my main nighttime use of models.
For example, it cannot answer hyper-specific questions about Julia Child's "Mastering the Art of French Cooking", while other frontier models can answer confidently.

It delivered better results at a lower cost.
Anthropic raised another $30,000,000,000 in funding, yet Cursor shipped a better model.
Bigger models won’t always win.
Focused ones will. This is the part of AI most people will underestimate.

Using Cursor again today for the first time in a while. Still using Claude Code, Codex, Conductor, of course.
First: someone needs to rename because the C-named companies are out of control.
Second: fast is good. Composer 2 is good because it's fast. That's all you need to know to at least give it a try.
Third: I am grateful that I can switch between all of these tools in an instant. Little-to-no lock in. I pick the thing that gives me the most intelligence-per-second-per-dollar and am happy.

I wanted to give my autonomous company agents the abilty to handle mail without breaking the bank on Google Workspace accounts. Agent Mail is a nice simple to onboard product worth checking out.

People say AI makes your skills atrophy. I see it differently. After reviewing 14 AI generated plans, I've gained immense insights into system architecture that I wouldn't have otherwise. Sure, I might not be writing as much syntax, but the trade-off is invaluable.
