While researching the architect David Ming-Li Lowe a few months ago, I came across “Real Estate As Art: New Architecture in Venice, California,” a wonderfully weird book by Joseph Giovannini from 1984

@dancaroselli love this thread — wanted to add that the plaque inside Monrovia City Hall says the architect is Stiles Clements, though that seems to refer to the firm (building permits mention his son Robert O. Clements by name)

@jesi_rgb pretty easy on a mac US keyboard (opt+7) though yeah not an optimal solution! might add a little button for it in the UI to make it easier

@robstenson INSANE!! this is looking so great btw, how do you input the non printable character? I always have to search for it on some random webpage
