I have a message for academics, intellectuals and other highly educated people in society, who are speculating on the current events. Don't be naive to the significant political changes that are happening right now. There is a social pressure on us, in our intelligentsia career bubble, to conform to centre-left and pro-establishment views. Well this conformity is fast becoming outdated and stale, and the decline of the old order is about to rapidly accelerate. These angry mostly working class people, who have powered Trump's landslide victory and the mass outrage at Starmer's Labour UK Government, are not just "far-righters" or "fascists" that can be easily brushed aside - they are a huge transatlantic legion of extremely marginalised and overlooked people, who have been systematically kept at the bottom of the socioeconomic ladder by mass migration, automation, under-investment, neoliberal economic policies and systematic government censorship. Everything in their lives have been violated, from their salaries, to their hometowns, to their cultural identities, to their very childrens' safety. They do not care how many thesaurus words you type against them, or how many one-sidedly spun articles establishment-owned legacy media outlets (BBC, CNN etc.) publish. They have nothing to lose. X is the media now, Trump is shortly going to become the President of America and Elon has lead a rallying cry that has awoken a deeply suppressed anger in these masses, which was only previously kept down by an engineered cancel culture, lawfare via unfair justice systems, and bad-faith character assassinations via increasingly propagandised mass media outlets. Once impartial, fair and accountable, these media outlets have since been poisoned and now serve as spin doctors, for coercion and enforcement against any threat to the old money that sit at the top of the old neoliberal US-led hegemony. The lid is now off and the neoliberal empire of old is now crumbling before our very eyes. Don't be naive - big changes are about to happen. Plenty of corruption and institutionally criminal scandals are being exposed, and it will only escalate from here. Epstein, the Twitter files, the crimes of the Clinton and Biden families, systematic government censorship online, covering up industrial-scale rape gangs etc. are just the beginning of this. By attempting to conjure up and regurgitate the old bad-faith legacy media narratives, you are aligning with the losing side, and certainly the wrong side of history. It is complicated and it is ugly. Don't be a mouthpiece for a falling tyranny. It's no longer cool and it no longer makes you look enlightened. Read the room and move with the times. You may be cognitively gifted and highly educated, but you are perhaps not as objective, nuanced or intellectually infallible as you think you are.
