Rocco the Angel Cat (+Zeus!)

I had a heart attack today and passed away in my own home. I was happy and healthy until the end. I was very loved and will be missed by everyone who knew me.

He is still having urinary issues. Mom got him all the stuff to help him adjust: feliway, furminator, da bird and some nip toys. Hopefully he will calm down soon. He also found a bunch of Rocco’s old toys from somewhere! I didn’t play so Mom lost track of them!

This is a new vet to us. I only saw her once. It took weeks to get an appt with our other vet and we didn’t have that time for me at the end so Mom asked the urgent care vet to recommend someone new.

Once this flare up is over, hopefully he won’t need meds but will need to be monitored for blockages. Mom is happy he is easier to give meds to than either me or Rocco.

Dad really liked the neighbor cat Leo who was also a ginger, so Dad chose a pope name for him too. Mom thought he should be named Amandine because he looks like an almond croissant, but Dad won! His previous owner called him Cat.

He just went to the vet and she said he is overweight. If only she’d seen Angel Rocco! 🤣 He’s also lighter than I was but I had a huge frame and was a healthy weight at 14.5 lbs.
