I took this Sunday afternoon to join my neighbors from across Virginia to walk in public to call attention to the continuing atrocity of Israeli hostages being held by the international terrorists of Hamas. It’s been 611 days since the October 7 attacks. 611 days of silence from too many. 611 days of terror for those still in captivity. After decades of murder and terror directed at innocent people around the world, I am stunned that any civilized person could side with Hamas. I refuse to stay silent—or show empathy for killers who hate not only Jews but also America and the West. What disturbs me even more is the growing hostility towards and abuse of Jews—on college campuses, in our cities, and in our communities across our country. We need leaders who will speak boldly, clearly, and unapologetically to stop the cultural abuse and violence and this antisemitic cancer from spreading any further in OUR country. I know when the episode airs where they address my disability for the first time, I’m gonna get so many tweets/comments like “wow I didn’t even notice” as if that’s a compliment. Which is going to be really frustrating!! So if you’re seeing this, please don’t do that. 😚
