i just don't find it to be that big of a deal. the game is overtuned.. we've KNOWN for a year and a half now. some characters (most tbh) are broken... get over it. the game is chaotic and busted and overtuned to shit, even if it was perfectly balanced the community would still find something to complain about. the discourse is honestly pointless. niggas are gonna be complaining about another character or two or 4 by tomorrow anyway

Idk why you are so adamant on defending this lame ass hero when he is evidence that rivals damage and healing numbers are just so overtuned that it makes the game dumb to play.

WWE is known to spruce up their content to appear bigger than what it actually is. The only reason they chose to go with that marketing ploy was because their developmental brand was consistently the best show on a weekly basis for years. we can argue semantics all night long, none of us are dumb, let's stop acting like it

@rockboyblue @TheDrainmaker NXT black and gold wasn’t a developmental according to WWE’s own marketing, it was a co-equal third brand meant to compete with the indie scene for people who liked that style of wrestling.

Never forget Kevin Knight: • the student of Katsuyori Shibata • NJPW LA Dojo graduate • Former IWGP Jr. Tag Champion • Having wrestled in Tokyo Dome ... was offered to do a tryout and perform drills at the PC.

NXT was quite literally ALWAYS developmental... the entire purpose of the brand wasn't just teaching newcomers how to wrestle. it was also teaching their style of camera work... if AJ STYLES openly said he wished he came up through NXT and any guys after him should, ima take the guys word for it

@rockboyblue @TheDrainmaker Kenny Omega wrestled like three matches for a WWE developmental before the performance center was a thing and had no interest in ever setting foot in one of their rings again. Most of those other guys went to NXT when it wasn’t a developmental.

@420wrasslin @TheDrainmaker Competition has very little to do with it. In the peak of the Monday Night Wars a lot of guys were still doing tryouts/going to developmental or had ALREADY done so

@420wrasslin @TheDrainmaker the same could be said about all the indy greats from the 90s to early 2000's. I'm not saying I think he HAD to do it or that that formula is necessarily right, but that's always been how they operated/still operate. why expect anything less?

@greenvelvetroxy @torn1995 @Carl_Nwakakwa not ALL producers have final say. and sometimes none of them do. really kinda just depends on the hierarchy of the studio. i'd imagine the creator of the movie who's spearheading the whole thing would have ultimate say, but i'd have to see who's involved to really weigh on that.

so then your problem in this scenario is getting shot by an entire team with one DPS doing crit damage as a brawl tank with barely any defensive capabilities.... you're acting as if Punisher does SOOOO much damage, when the damage you're referring to is 1. Headshot dmg UP CLOSE and 2. On par with other DPS that do significant amounts of damage from nearly infinite range before you can even get close enough to touch them.

Well Hawkeye for one... for two that "in like two shots" only really applies in a truly 1v1 scenario with no heals/overshield and if you're losing that fight to a punisher as a TANK you kinda just sucked. That being said, damage output in general was always pretty high in rivals. healing is just as high so this is all a negligible point until one of those isn't the case.
