The reason why I use AI is due to lack of massive pools of funds, and if I have to choose between spending 200$ just to get 1 decent drawing done and paying bills or other things, I'm sorry it ain't gonna be just for 1 measely picture. Lack of connections and circles to get access to all the hookups I have a very small following on social media my largest following is my youtube channel and that is still considered a small channel so I don't have the pull or circles of folks to go to for anything it is all solo work over here I got me and myself to rely on so if a tool like AI is helpful guess what? I am using it and I don't care what no random mofo has to say about it you do you over there and I do my thing over here unless you are paying me the thousands of dollars needed to get all I need done completed and it's a crap ton of stuff so I don't see that happening. Oh, and AI helps to completely avoid having to deal with getting scammed, ghosted, or dealing with petty, nasty attitudes of so-called online ''artists'' I am a no-nonsense type of dude. I'm not up for playing games, especially when my money is involved. Overall, AI is a very helpful tool and as an independent creator myself who is working on projects of my own..Oops, heh, looks like I let it slip a bit, but I ain't tellin what it is. AI is greatly helpful and just fun to use I have as of posting this tweet over 100 original characters I have created and come up with over the years with AI in the picture now I am able to give those hundreds of characters shape and form now how I envision them in my head and I can do so at a fraction of the price and risk free because I can take as much time as I want on 1 single character and I can revise and change them anytime I want. If I had to rely on commissions alone for my characters, nothing would get done, and it would cost me thousands of dollars in total just to get it done for all of them. Also, we are not factoring in when I think up brand new characters. Simply put, having to try to run down a commission for each one would be next to impossible and a pain in the neck. With AI, if I have any little idea in my head, I can just get up, pop in the AI and make whatever. I can do multiple pics of the same character, or I can experiment with different outfits and dress them up at any time of the day, even late at night. So yeah, AI is a great tool to have as a small independent creator. I haven't even gotten into other uses, it is helpful for this is just the art portion. And if I ever do absolutely need or want to commission someone, since I already made the characters, there is already source material to draw from, making the job overall less a hassle. AI is a great risk-free tool to use where you can freely mess around with something without much risk to cost of funds, so that way you have it ready and set before you start putting down or exchanging money.
