" I peed on myself when kidnappers killed my colleague over ransom payment in Ekiti. " They were seven in numbers with AK 47 rifles. They kidnapped me from the farm I was managing. They collected my handbag, farm book, phone and my 8000 naira i wanted to pay workers harvesting maize. " They tied my hands with a rope, alongd the road, I saw my tractor operator, they had shot him on the hand. They took us through the forest and we crossed the river. " They called my employer and demanded 100 million from me and 50 million for the tractor operator. On the fourth day, they had kidnapped more people and we were 11. My employer had blocked my line. I called my mum who called my employer, she raised 2 million for me and the operator. " On the 8th day my family raised 15 million naira and took it to Egbe in Kogi state. They also gave them cartons of malt, milk, Black bullet drink ,two Android phones, trousers, shirts, rice and beans. " Yet, they didn't release me, they said its remaining 55 million naira. I told them I am a labourer and my family is not the owner of the farm. They said I was lying and they kept beating me. " The operator was shot twice because when they called his boss, he told them he could raise only 2 million. I urinated on my body. I shivered and couldn't move. Their leader told me and one other victim to carry his body to the bush. On the 22nd day, they took me to another group. Of 11of us, I was the only one left, others paid between million to 20 million before they were released. " The new group were deadlier, they left us behind and went to Eruku CAC in Kwara state, they kidnapped 38 people. " They returned with terrifying sounds of motorcycles, I was scared, I thought they were coming to kill us. They fed us white rice only once in a day. The Kwara state government paid 350 million naira before they were released, yet, they didn't release me. " The leader met me again and told me if I can raise 2 million, they will release me, I called my mum and she said she would borrow the money. He gave his account and my mum transferred the money. Yet, he didn't release me. The guy guarding us became angry as he was given 15,000 out of the 2 million, he dropped the hand cuff key and torch and left the camp. That was how I escaped on the 42nd day." —Ekiti Farm Manager.

I did not join Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT in distributing heroin and cocaine in Chicago. I did not join @atiku Atiku Abubakar in looting the Nigerian Customs dry. I did not join David Mark when he stole funds meant to fix our telephones and later helped to crush our democratic hopes on June 12. I did not join Abubakar Malami, SAN, in violating human rights and looting the treasury under Muhammadu Buhari’s watch including banning @Twitter. I did not join Nasir El-Rufai @elrufai in massacring Shiites and fueling religious genocide in Southern Kaduna. I did not join @PeterObi at the Tin Can Ports while he cleared goods for Sani Abacha when the same Abacha that was dismantling Nigeria brick by brick. I did not join Sule Lamido and the SDP traitors who sold out MKO Abiola and the will of the Nigerian people during June 12 struggle. I did not join @ChibuikeRotimi1 Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi while he gambled away Rivers State funds and abandoned the mini-rail project already paid for. I have never joined an armed robbery gang. I have never pledged allegiance to any cult gang—no matter how popular, powerful, or fanciful. I have only one allegiance: to the oppressed, the disenfranchised, the cheated, the silenced. I will join only those ready and willing to end this national nightmare created by these characters listed above! Let it be known: I stand with a vanguard of justice. A coalition of truth. A revolutionary team to restore the dignity of the Nigerian people and Africans. Nigeria must be free from these evil doers. #RevolutionNow ✊🏾

From a layman’s view, the grinding disks are metal rubbing on one another depending on pressure applied. The shaft is just metal, connected to a bearing, of which most of these have no grease seal. Conclusion: Pepper from this device contains granules of iron fillings, iron rust and grease leak from the bearing (boris). Verdict: No, it’s not hygienic. It’s a slow death. Thanks!
Diamond 💎@diamondhighbee1

Is this even hygienic in the first place?

PRESS STATEMENT In the last 24 hours, social media has exploded over my interview with Mehdi Hassan, albeit with varied opinions. Let me set the record straight. When I signed on to the privileged job granted to me by Mr. President, I was well aware of its implications. Selling ice cream, looking fine, and seeking the praises of men were never part of it. Some of the fiercest critics of my interview can not even stand local TV anchors. But the task of promoting and defending the President and his administration is what I do with ease and joy. I am prepared to appear before any interviewer, anywhere in the world, any day and at any time, to defend this government and its policies. I have never, and will never, subscribe to ducking or dodging interviews on matters that concern promoting and defending the administration I was appointed to serve. It is the least of what is required of me. Head to Head contacted me requesting an interview, stating that they wanted to challenge our government on security, the economy, and corruption. Nowhere in our almost six months of communication did they mention that they were going to challenge my past. If that had been their plan, ethically and professionally, they were supposed to inform me so I could prepare my response. But that’s okay, ethically, that is on them, not on me. I refused to swallow the pill of Mehdi’s “opposition research-style journalism,” and even today, if you carefully compare what he read as quotes from organisations and groups, you will see that many were inaccurate and some were outright fake news. But I will leave that for another day. As for what I said about President Tinubu in the past, I am glad those were things I said when I was in the opposition saddle with such zeal. It is all politics. Half of Donald Trump’s cabinet is made up of people who once spoke against him, and quite a number of people in our own cabinet also spoke against President Tinubu in the past. Those things do not bother him if you care to know. The majority of the naysayers are members of the opposition and their sympathisers. It does not bother me one bit. Their temporary excitement over the interview has not lasted and will not last, because it does not take away their obvious problem of lack of vision, mission in conducting and managing a political party; yet they seek to manage Nigeria. Clearly they have no path to victory and no alternative policies or program for the Nigerian people. And if they say they do, they can as well go to head to head and be interrogated on that; as the saying in Hausa goes “Ga fili Ga doki” I conclude by thanking the many Nigerians and non-Nigerians who sent in their commendations over my brave defence of our government in an interview where the anchor would hardly let you answer a question unless it suited his narrative. I still have admiration and respect for Mehdi Hassan as arguably the best debater on the planet. I look forward to part two of the Head to Head interview, and I am glad that by then questions about my past will no longer be news so that we can focus on our administration’s policies, programs and what we have achieved so far. Stay tuned. – D.H Bwala Special Adviser to President on Media and Policy Communication (State House) Saturday March 7, 2026

The IGP will not be goaded into taking needless actions. The case is already before a court of competent jurisdiction and is progressing well. Sentiments or emotional blackmail will not cow the Force. IGP Olatunji Disu, psc(+), NPM remains resolute in ensuring professionalism amongst his officers while equally asserting that any officer found wanting would be decisively sanctioned, as no officer is above the law.
Omoyele Sowore@sowore

Signs of Weak Leadership Under New IGP @TunjiDisu1 Are Already Manifesting! In the last few days, troubling signs have emerged suggesting that the newly appointed Inspector-General of Police, @TunjiDisu1 , may be indecisive and not sufficiently firm in managing the affairs of the Nigeria Police Force @PoliceNG. If these early signals are anything to go by, rogue elements within the Nigeria Police Force will quickly recognize and exploit this perceived weakness. One case that illustrates this concern is that of @MaureenBadejo, the UK-based blogger who has been held in Nigeria following complaints involving two prominent General Overseers, @APOSTLESULEMAN and Dr. @REAL_DKOLUKOYA . Maureen Badejo was initially brought before a Magistrate's Court, charged with cybercrime, which appeared uncomfortable with the apparent attempt to use its jurisdiction to perpetrate injustice. The magistrate granted her bail, allowing her temporary freedom, but the officers involved, led by a notorious Superintendent of Police (SP) Smart Abubakar, weren't happy and had tried to rearrest her and keep her in Kirirkiri prison. Following this development, Maureen Badejo traveled to Abuja, where a source within the new IGP’s office informed us that the Inspector-General’s Principal Staff Officer (PSO), CP Ahmed Lateef, wanted to meet with Maureen Badejo and TracyNither Nicolas Ohiri. (the woman who is also being oppressed by Tinubu's Works Minister, David Umahi) Both women attended the meeting alongside human rights lawyer Marshal D F Abubakar, Esq. During the discussion, PSO Lateef reportedly offered what he described as an 'apology' and stated that the new IGP would not want his tenure to be associated with abuse of citizens’ rights. However, from the outset, there were reasons to treat that assurance cautiously. I know Lateef to be a cunning police officer. I advised Maureen that the assurances could not be relied upon and decided to escalate the matter by contacting AIG Emmanuel Ade Aina, head of the Police Legal Directorate. AIG Aina indicated that he would "look into the matter." Many within the force describe him as capable and potentially upright, but often never straightforward in dealing with sensitive issues. After returning to Lagos, Maureen waited for action from both PSO Lateef and the police hierarchy. Instead of relief, the situation worsened. The police unit handling her case at the NCC unit of the FCIID replaced the prosecutor with a more aggressive officer, A O Nwabusi The case was then scheduled before Justice Akintayo Aluko on Tuesday, but was miraculously shifted to a Friday (The day of the week often associated with tactical arraignments designed to keep defendants in custody over the weekend even when bail is granted) Alarmed by these developments, I again reached out to AIG Aina to ask why Maureen was still being arraigned despite the earlier discussions. His response was shocking. While admitting that, by drawing his attention to the matter, he had called for the file and review, he then asked why Maureen should not face trial, stating that he had not initially realized that she had allegedly offended Apostle Johnson Suleman and suggesting that nothing would stop the prosecution. Maureen was subsequently arraigned today before Justice Aluko, a judge widely perceived to be particularly sympathetic to cases involving religious leaders. Justice Aluko previously presided over the case of Harrison Ofoegbu "Ijele" The King Of The Game who spent nearly two years in prison after offending pastor Evang.Ebuka Obi. In Maureen’s case, the matter has now been adjourned until March 16, 2026. There are fears that if bail is granted at the next hearing, the conditions may be deliberately difficult for her to meet. For me, this episode speaks to @TunjiDisu1's leadership style at the Nigeria Police Force under his purview as the new Inspector-General. Officers who thrive in a system of abuse and impunity will definitely find comfort in a leadership style perceived as conciliatory and hesitant. Some within the system already describe the new IGP as having plenty of demeanor but little decisive action a comparison that has been likened to former President Goodluck Jonathan’s leadership style. If the early days of IGP Disu’s tenure are defined by hesitation rather than firm oversight, rogue officers within the Nigeria Police Force will feel emboldened to continue the very abuses he reportedly promised would not define his leadership. WE MUST BRACE AND FIGHT UNTIL WE GET THE Nigeria Police Force WE DESERVE.
