Rain or shine it's a great day to be at Rockville's Hometown Holidays! The fun is going strong today and tomorrow from 12 pm to 6 pm... even with some wet weather... in Town Center. There are plenty of bands ready to play, Rockville treats and activities for kids, great food, and our public safety personnel are here to help make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time. Thank you to the @RockvilleCityPD @RockvilleVFD & @mcfrs for being on site all weekend! Hope to see you out here celebrating one of @Rockville411's best community traditions!

The @Rockville411 Hometown Holidays is going strong on Day 2! The music is rocking, the kids activities and giveaways are happening, and there is still plenty of fun to enjoy until 6 pm today. Best of all, it is much drier than yesterday! Come out to Rockville Town Center, enjoy the food, music, and festivities, and help us celebrate the BEST Hometown with the BEST Residents, BEST Volunteers, BEST City Staff, and BEST Public Safety Personnel!

What a fantastic @Rockville411 Hometown Holidays weekend! Great music, great food, great kids activities, great giveaways, and most importantly, a great community coming together in the heart of our city. Come on down to the @RockvilleVFD Open House at Station 3 in Rockville Town Center right now! There are great demonstrations, kids activities, and plenty of fun for the whole family. It’s a great chance to meet our volunteer firefighters, learn more about the incredible work they do, and enjoy a fun community event after the parade! Thank you to all of public safety personnel!

Today was a meaningful day in @Rockville411 as we came together to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. I was honored to participate in the Rockville Memorial Day Ceremony, the 82nd Annual Memorial Day Parade, and the @AmericanLegion Post 86 Memorial Day Luncheon. Memorial Day is about remembrance, gratitude, and community. Thank you to our veterans, our military families, City Staff, @RockvilleVFD, @RockvilleCityPD, and everyone who helped make today’s events so special. Thank you also to @Andrew_Friedson for joining me in the parade! Most importantly, thank you to all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Their service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
