Ideally everyone would have a heads-up on when things were ending - but internally companies planning layoffs/project cancelations want the work to be finished before rug-pulling so that workers keep up efforts.

Bungie staff are pitching and prototyping new projects, including in the Destiny franchise, but none have been greenlit
