This country is descending into a place which is unrecognisable to any of us seniors who can remember Britain as it used to be.
A place of despair. Katılım Ağustos 2015

@Rodney_Tuxedo_1 @tryhard_joe Top dollar collector's item. Wish I could afford one.

@VividProwess I hate adding a 'like' to a post such as this. Sorrow, sadness, anger, loss, never a like. But it's another way of saying 'respect'.

@SusieM414141 A chap living around the corner from me tried to train his dog using this water squirty method. A Giant Schnauzer, which proved uncontrollable by the time it was an adult. Not sure what happened to it, he moved away.

@SeasonDeeper I can't remember the details, but I know I used to blow one up with a bicycle pump and it released itself when there was enough pressure. Made a good height usually.

@ronsterd89 I pay my housekeeper in cash, as that's how she wants it. The car wash, and anything under £5 is always cash. Sometimes I use a debit card so that I can prove I bought something. I've used a credit card to prove my age. All my gun dealings are cards - credit, debit, or cheque.

@oaksandlions Over the years I've been to or passed:- Caxton Gibbet, Upper Dicker, The Slaughters, Peas Pottage.

There is a village in England called Piddlehinton.
Not far away, you’ll find Shitterton… and then there's Crapstone.
And they aren't even the strangest names.
There's Scratchy Bottom, Giggleswick, Pratt's Bottom, and even a Minge Lane.
You'll also find Happy Bottom, Butts Wynd, and just for good measure, a Brown Willy.
Centuries old.
Unchanged.
Unapologetic.
Most come from Old English, long before their meanings changed.
And these are just the tip of the iceberg.
There are hundreds more scattered across our ancient land.
Fun fact: The sign for Shitterton kept getting stolen, so they replaced it with a 1.5 tonne slab of stone.
What’s the strangest place name you’ve seen? Can you add to the list?

@BoroFraz1970 @benonwine I swore the oath in '66. To my mind that oath died at the same time as did QEII.

Can't really post the exact words. Here's the abbreviated version.....****,##$£%,$%/:"!
I swore an Oath to that idiots mum back in 1986. Our last true monarch would never have entertained this treachery.
I even helped line the road from Balmoral to Aberdeen for her procession, so I could say goodbye.
No time for this 🤬

@MbarkCherguia Isn't it irritating when someone posts a riddle, and no solution.

@nancy_hamm1 As an ex- hunter, it's images like this that remind me why I stopped.

This silver Mustang was ripping around that tight curve under the overpass when...
You see it flying into the frame, hugging the white line on the exit ramp, then smoothly powering through the whole bend while the camera pans to keep up as it disappears down the highway.
What a clean run, would you pull over and stop everything just to watch this Mustang drift that curve or keep it moving?

@janninereid1 What would I say? - if you stop praying to some mythical super saint five times a day, then I'll ask my dog to stop barking.
