@MyGungahlin Most of the roads on this list are long with high speeds. I bet Hinder has only made it onto the list because of the intersection with Anthony Rolfe. One set of traffic lights would solve the problem. This intersection will just get busier/more dangerous once the new cinema opens

@MyGungahlin What a crock. COVID only affects the business when it’s running, not when it’s being built. It makes no difference whether a completed building sits on the site waiting for COVID to end, or whether it’s a pile of dirt. Enough excuses, build the damn cinema.

I also respect people’s right to comment on his style (it’s the people’s ABC after all) even though I don’t share the concern. It’s the ‘Murdoch stooge’ conspiracies that I think unnecessarily derail the conversation.

I doubt that he chooses the topics, but people’s view that he focuses on his own opinion & his interrupting style are the reasons why he’s trending.

@Schreiberland The Black Count by Tom Reiss. It’s actually a biography but reads like a work of fiction. Alexander Dumas’ father was born the son of a French nobleman and a plantation slave and went on to be a General in Napoleon’s army. Pulitzer Prize winner for biography in 2013.

Am really into historical fiction at the moment (love googling to see what’s real or not as I read). Anyone got any recommendations?
