Anyone been having issues with their new @johndeere X9? We bought 4 this year and they have just been big piles of fuck. It’s almost like a Lexion painted green and yellow. Extremely disappointed to the point where we may trade off our whole line of Deere equipment.

@Paul_Brown1 @S_M_Bowman @hasselljpb No Paul, the big problem is getting the grain from up-country to port. There are insufficient port slots because CBH know they can only get so much grain to port and therefore can only offer the number of slots that corresponds to that quantity. KW has unutilised loading capacity

What if we, as an industry, take a summer off carting lime and instead cart grain to port for a month Get payed good rates so the trucking is worth it anyway but the real value created by getting more shipping slots open and creating competition for our grain Is that a thing?

@greenholme405 @burgess_ag At a pre harvest meeting yesterday. Cbh grain told us they have no shipping slots but will post a price every day. Any guesses what that will do to influence the 16 other marketers --$$$$ @cbhgroup

@burgess_ag In WA the system is controlled by CBH , our CoOp with the basis almost -$300 I do bang on about it a lot but seriously wtf More so what are the solutions as sky rocketing inputs wil send some to the wall ,and that's a given

It’s been bit of a process with wet weather, and a dragged out harvest, summer spray program, and sowing, but after 10 months, finally got the new shed completed, just waiting on tanks. How good is a new shed 👌
