Why is everyone scared to call out the problem of this team?? It’s Bruno. Vitinha is doing his job by setting tempo and controlling rhythm. For me, the biggest issue is Bruno. He’s an outstanding creator in chaotic, transition-heavy matches, but in a controlled possession system he’s not as effective. That’s why he’s struggling here Portugal spend long periods circulating the ball against a settled defense, and that demands patience, positional discipline, and precise combinations. Bruno naturally wants to force the killer pass early, which can disrupt the rhythm and lead to rushed attacks. That doesn’t mean he’s a bad player, it means his strengths are different. In a stable possession system, you need a creator who manipulates space with patience. Bruno is at his best when the game is open and unpredictable, not when he has to unlock a deep block through sustained possession.

@desarme_tatico O problema é o Bruno estar a jogar a falso 9 em vez de estar perto do Vitinha e do Neves.

Opinião polémica ou não mas não gosto de ver Vitinha na posição 6 e considero que perde muito do que tem de melhor. Joga nessa posição no PSG, num coletivo já montado e planeado para isso. Por aqui, sempre foi um 8 à imagem do adversário de hoje: Luka Modrić.

@NealGardner_ Portugal are playing with FIFA corrupt referees on their side. It is not going to be easy. If the scoreline is close, they will rig it for Portugal. This is the same template UEFA have been using to help Real Madrid ins Champions League. Beat them convincingly or forget it.
