THERE IT IS!! Raphael Marceaux of Centennial has just walked it off, a low shot in the 100th minute, the last minute before PKs, and the top-seeded Hawks have beaten No. 2 La Cueva 2-1 in the boys Class 5A state soccer final at UNM.

Sad news in Artesia today, the passing of Mack Chase. A legendary oil man who was so generous and giving to the community from which he grew up in. His humble generosity is notorious throughout the town. The field at Bulldog Bowl is named after him Mack Chase Field. May he rest in peace.
