A bonfire marking Guy Fawkes was held at Little Bay, organised by the Scout Association with Cultural Services. It was postponed to Friday due to weather.

Such a special day with HRH The Princess of Wales @KensingtonRoyal as she welcomed our Squirrels and Chief Scout, @DwayneFields to spend time in nature as part of the State Visit. Thank you to all who supported this, especially our Joint President, young people and volunteers.

We welcome today’s announcement from DCMS on funding for the youth and enrichment sectors. This vital investment will help Scouts reach more young people most in need, building confidence, a sense of belonging and #SkillsForLife.

The annual awards presentation was held post parade. The Most Improved Drummer award was presented to Dmr Noah Segui, and the PMaj Albert Price Trophy and Banner was jointly awarded to Pipers (and husband & wife!) Jorge Silva & Marian Goessens!

Yesterday we performed for a sunny and bright 3 Kings Cavalcade, as is tradition. The band was out in force with a strong performance of traditional Scottish tunes and Christmas carols.

CHRISTMAS SATURDAY IN TOWN This weekend we performed for the Gibraltar Cultural Services "Christmas Saturdays", which saw the Pipes & Drums march up Gibraltar's Main Street, stopping along the way to play festive tunes before marching back down to Grand Casemates Square.

It was a joy to meet with Girl Guides and Scouts in Gibraltar. Thank you for having me at the Scouts’ excellent Activity Centre - a fantastic facility for Gibraltar’s young people. Organisations such as these play a vital role for young people in the Overseas Territories.
