Growing up, didn’t we all want to be the Banker?
After 22 Years, Banker .com Is Live.
I’ve completed thousands of domain transactions over the last 30 years.
But Banker .com was the toughest buy of them all.
October 2004.
The first TRAFFIC conference.
The first live auction run on a whiteboard.
There wasn’t much action.
So I stepped in to prime the pump.
I opened the bidding at $42,000.
fully expecting someone to outbid me.
Nobody did.
At the time, I had just come out of a divorce.
I had $68,000 left in cash.
That left me with $26,000.
And the bills from that first TRAFFIC were still coming in.
Sedo gave me an opportunity to back out.
I couldn’t.
I wouldn’t.
I didn’t.
That would have killed the auction
and the momentum we were trying to build.
Maybe that’s why I still believe when you bid, you have a reputational obligation to follow through.
Not comfortable.
Not safe.
But I did it anyway.
Yesterday, Banker .com went live.
And today feels like a sigh of relief.
This is Beast Mode in action.

The vaccine dosage was obviously too high and done too many times.
I had the original Wuhan virus before there was any vaccine and it was much like any other cold/flu. Bad, but not terrible.
But my second vaccine shot almost sent me to the hospital. Felt like I was dying.

This should be headline news EVERYWHERE. A Pfizer insider who was former head of toxicology in Europe has just come out and said something that many "conspiracy theorists" suspected. He estimates that 20 000 to 60 000 people in Germany have died from the c*vid vaccine. This was said at a parliamentary enquiry commission in Germany. So why isn't this massive news being reported everywhere? Is the mainstream media that has recieved millions in funding from Bill Gates deliberately covering this up... 🤔

At a time of record petrol prices and rising pressure on global oil markets, the case for electrifying Pakistan’s 2Ws and 3Ws is no longer theoretical. It is a national emergency and should be a top priority.
But the answer is not simply importing EVs. For this transition to work at scale, Pakistan needs local manufacturing and battery-swapping infrastructure for 2W and 3W.
Battery swapping addresses the biggest adoption bottlenecks: upfront battery cost, inconsistent quality, and rider downtime. That is what makes electric practical for high-usage commercial motorbikes and rickshaws.
This model is already working at scale elsewhere. Battery Smart in India has crossed 100 million swaps. Startups across SEA, India, and Africa are raising hundreds of millions of dollars and racing to build battery-swapping networks for motorbikes and rickshaws.
Congrats to the Zyp founders and team! Big milestone, and still early in what is surely going to be a massive shift.

AI credits zijn het nieuwe goud. Ik betaal momenteel €30-50/dag bij boven op het Claude Max account van €90/maand. De laatste loodjes... Als je die dingen echt aan het werk zet, vreten ze je helemaal kaal. Maar vandaag is het dan ook af, dan gaat mijn project live / in productie. De toekomst is duidelijk. Dit jaar nog: er komen efficiënte modellen en iedereen gaat z'n eigen LLM draaien. Ik gebruik nu Qwen Code van Alibaba op mijn lokale werkstation, langzaam, maar bruikbaar. Volgend jaar: complexe producten (zoals in mijn geval Azure Cloud en AWS) krijgen speciaal getrainde LLM's / agents meegeleverd die kunnen worden gebruikt door je eigen AI. Dit decade nog: iedereen gaat z'n eigen modellen ook trainen / bij-trainen. Ik ben er niet bang voor, deze technologie gaat voor iedereen beschikbaar komen.
