@binance, Thanks for including me in the top 100 blockchain people list, appreciate the signal! I must decline the Dubai invite though. I do not wish to disrespect, but many of the award voters are avid kaspians who rooted for my kaspa status at least as much as for my research. Let them win or count me out. Crypto has turned from a euphoric cypherpunk project to a house-friendly casino. You may not be the culprit, but as a top player you hold the lion’s share of the responsibility to correct this, and the October crash your USDe oracle glitch helped trigger adds to what needs to be addressed. There are three classes of crypto, as @mert put it recently: commercial crypto, casino crypto, cypherpunk crypto. <> A TBTF CEX should know better and play a different game with hardcore crypto projects. When binance lists a green frog three weeks post its “launch” but skips a fair-launched-Nakamoto-Consensus-100ms-upgrade-ATH-top-20-the-only-nonbitcoin-marathon-mined project, this is not merely binance rationally calculating; it is also binance molding the market in a way that is alas misaligned with the roots of the movement. You may feel that kaspa’s sovereign money thesis is boring – that bitcoin is already money and that implementing an internet-speed bitcoin is useless - fine. Wrong but fine. But what’s the thesis for the green frog? Money is a classic chicken-and-egg product. It is a scam up until one moment before tipping point, “most of the value comes from the value that others place in it.” Considering your resources and influence, I think it's safe to say you can serve as both the egg and the chicken and make it worth your while to push sound attempts towards tipping point. @cz_binance tweeted recently that “strong projects will be listed.” But binance is part of what defines "strong", it bears responsibility for the market’s compass and impulse and definition of strong. It is not a read-only entity. Binance listing fees are legit, they are just unfit for category cypherpunk. Kaspa devs and early supporters fairly mined less than half what satoshi and hals mined. We don’t have a 20% ZEC-style founders’ reward or protocol-enforced dev fund; this is not a jab at ZEC and the wonderful @Zooko, who was crashing in my car on a late Thursday back in the low ZEC MC days – if somebody deserves to win it is zooko – but assuming binance is not taking a maxi bet, it should revisit its relationship with hardcore crypto. We are here through bull and bear, ICOs NFTs XYZs; and we are the source of confidence that restores faith and capital inflow post meme-induced or CEX-induced crashes. Please fix this. Thanks again, hashdag cc @michaelsuttonil Exhibit A: Binance Innovation Zone Exhibit B: 10 bps Nakamoto Consensus

Tutoring today. A new business proposal set up right afterwards. Gym then yoga. Oh and I’m dog sitting this cute lil pup this week 🧡 Not staring at the charts. Bags are packed already. Steinbeck playing in the background. Unbothered.

Overall, putting aside the complete lack of moderation and the entire middle portion deteriorating into a high-school argument, not a good look, imo. Obvious that both sides were ill-equipped for this, incapable of conveying the intricacies needed to bridge the divide. Respect to @KaspaSilver for stepping up. Started and finished strong, got pulled under a bit in the middle, but was clearly the more qualified party (for both KAS and BTC). Though, still under-qualified to sufficiently diffuse Fathead's main concerns which, regardless of how much of a non-issue they are to us, are very valid at surface level - the main thing we should be concerned with. If the goal of having debates like these is to highlight to those who aren't already in the know the fact that Kaspa retains all of the positive qualities of Bitcoin while also solving its main problems (which it absolutely should be), then any concern that questions this should be able to be answered concisely, no matter how basic and no matter how entry-level the knowledge of the concerned party. The fact is, if you were judging this like a UFC fight from the perspective of someone who knows nothing about KAS and who may even lack a general understanding of BTC - our target audience - there's almost no way you wouldn't score this 48-47 for Fathead. He won the battle of 'propagating the most important-sounding and easily digestible talking points'. I'd give rounds 1 & 5 to Silver, like I said he started and finished strong, but he lost 2, 3, and 4. Unfortunately, it's not enough to just be correct, if you can't explain WHY you're correct, doubt remains - and that's mission failure when the objective is on-boarding/conversion. There were multiple instances from this discussion, but the prime example was clearly the issue of Kaspa's missing blocks. Fathead's position was simple: BTCs decentralization and security are easily provable via full ledger history being available in many locations. It's easy for the average user to conceptualize this: if you can track every transaction from launch, you can verify the lack of fraud/malice (even if this isn't entirely true). So, in the case where a new PoW comes along and is missing early data, it's also easy to see why this same average user might assume there may have been some kind of hidden collusion or unfair advantage that could lead to security issues down the line. We can't assume these people will somehow just connect the dots and realize on their own that genesis block UTXOs are maintained on every up-to-date ledger which proves the network is valid/consistent, along with the proof-of-genesis proving nothing malicious went down... but it's also not enough to just tell them so. In future debates, we need someone who can explain these differentiating factors thoroughly and as simply and relatable as possible, and preferably someone almost as capable on the receiving end to validate the reasoning and fill in any remaining holes with the required trust. In the end, the middle of the road Bitcoin maxi left this podcast with zero closure regarding the main criticisms of Kaspa, imo. Tbf to Silver, it was an uphill battle the whole way with zero moderation and a half-wit on the other side (was particularly embarrassing toward the end during the bit about stablecoins). Good for exposure but need to be better prepared going in and step up the quality for the next one.

What caused KASPA to pump to 12 cents in May with much less Ethereum pumps but we can’t even get to 10 cent now which Ethereum much higher and more broader market pumps. Why? $KAS

After reading a large amount of back and forth interactions between Bitcoin maxis and Kaspa advocates after the recent X Spaces - Bitcoin: There’s no second best - I can only come to the conclusion that BTC maxis are petty, lack innovative vision, and don’t know the limitations or capabilities of their own preferred network well enough to advocate for it. Whereas on the other side of the crypto coin, Kaspa advocates clearly are leaps and bounds ahead of Bitcoin maxis by being more well-researched, educated, and innovative thinking with BOTH projects, not just their preferred one. Kind of makes sense that this is how it is because many Kaspa advocates used to be Bitcoin maxis themselves, and if not maxis then at least big believers in BTC as the future of money. I personally fall into the latter category as I first discovered Bitcoin in 2011 and used it as a payment currency (for various personal reasons I only bought to invest much later on). We already know Kaspa is much better technologically speaking than Bitcoin. That’s an indisputable fact. We also already see that KAS is a much better option as a decentralized, stateless, fast & affordable, & scalable global currency for the masses than Bitcoin (and that the lightning network is a failed solution with no real scalability future). Example of Proof: see here x.com/bravercrypto/s… when $18 million dollars worth of $KAS was transferred around the world in 0.68 seconds and only cost $.0001 to transact! As a financial technology professional, this blows my mind. Bitcoin simply can't come close to that in either speed or cost. And Kaspa did it while remaining secure! There is good reason why the accurate claim is made of "Kaspa solved the blockchain trilemma" Kaspa being a better decentralized money than Bitcoin is an indisputable fact to any person - as long as they have no holding bias and have an open mind to reality (looking at you uneducated petty BTC maxis 👀). Though what will make the BIGGEST difference in future adoption for either project is the advocates and their knowledge of the product they are advocating to the masses. Kaspa clearly destroys Bitcoin in this regard, too. There is no bias here. Just cold hard facts that anyone should be able to see for themselves once they open their eyes. Wishing long term success to both Bitcoin & Kaspa and crypto as a whole 🫡
