@iky_fwjett Regardless of who is right here, it sounds like you two would have great difficulty as time goes on, especially when children are added. Probably best for both of you to move on and find more compatible partners.
English

@Aeon212 @The_RomaArmy The state’s choice to run volunteer only can be changed at any moment. The threat is real and women are exempt by statute. Textbook sexism.
English

@rogersthieriot @The_RomaArmy In what way is my argument distracting or misleading? The draft is only a current threat because we have evil assholes in charge who would rather start wars than admit they protect pedophiles. Before we bombed Iran, you can’t seriously tell me you feared being drafted.
English

The assumption that Men have bodily autonomy is HILARIOUS. Men can be forced into fatherhood, forced into 18 years of financial obligation, and even drafted to die all without consent. They have to pay their rapists child support, they have no access to birth control other than condoms, and they CAN NOT abandon a child if unwanted.
Women can access abortion, safe haven law, give up their parental rights to CFS, 10 different birth controls AND tubal ligation.
Let’s stop pretending this is one-sided.
ً@wynrosei
You want to ban abortion??? Then force VASECTOMIES at 18. Reversible. Low risk. Zero deaths. Or is bodily autonomy only for men??? Answer wisely!
English

@Aeon212 @The_RomaArmy That’s a red herring. The threat of a draft is real and the draft can be activated on a moments notice.
English

@rogersthieriot @The_RomaArmy I meant that no one’s been drafted in decades. Sure, it can still happen but that seems unlikely, at least in the US. We’re not a smaller country like Ukraine being invaded by a much bigger country like Russia. Point is, seems odd to complain about something that does not happen.
English

@Aeon212 @The_RomaArmy The draft is still a thing because the government still maintains the systems needed to draft people and failure to register for the draft is a felony. Just because the government isn’t drafting men presently doesn’t mean they won’t do it in the future.
English

@The_RomaArmy Ok so, men are not forced into fatherhood. No one is forced to care for a child. Child support does not violate bodily autonomy and women pay it too. The draft hasn’t been a thing in decades, but it should also include women when it is.

@JohnW666777 @GBNEWS These are much more valuable place on earth the US could buy. $100 billion for a small set of islands seems steep.
English

@GBNEWS I'm sure that the US would gladly buy the Chagos Islands for $100 billion, then the UK can leave and give that money over to the Chinese (which is who was going to get the Chagos). 🇬🇧 🇺🇸
Problem Solved.

@SOM8400 @Tim_Walz @Ibn_mimano That is just a bit of IRL trolling by Trump, which isn’t good, but is also Trumps kind of thing.
English

@Tim_Walz @Ibn_mimano He’s threatening to Nuke Iran while telling them “God Bless the People of Iran”
Even MAGA are agreeing he has lost his mind.

English

@TheCatholicEngr This is funny. Nice to see a good sense of humor about the Flat Earth theory.
English

@goddek It’s times like this that I remember the adage that a warning label usually exists because someone did a dumb thing.
English

@LearnToToad Nonsense. Libertarians want less government in our lives. Republicans are happy to expand government as long as it serves their interests.
English

@pureMetatron I remember reading about this in school, and strictly speaking the earth is an oblate spheroid given its diameter is not uniform, even excluding oceans and mountains.

We should appreciate our grandparents more. The Greatest Generation suffered more than just World War 2

@TRHLofficial Seems like too much for a single convention of states.
English

Changes I would make during an Article V Convention of States:
1. Cap the Supreme Court at 9.
2. Only Citizens can vote. States can refine further.
3. Term limits
4. Repeal the 16th
5. Repeal the 17th
6. Repeal the 19th (mutes post)
7. Ban congressional stock trading
8. Ban lobbying/pacs
9. Ban foreign money
10. Write the second amendment so that a 2 year old may understand it
11. Ban dual citizens from holding office.
12. No reelection for Congressmen without a balanced budget
13. Abolish the Patriot Act
14. Fire all Bureaucrats
15. President Washington’s cabinet was 5 people: Treasury, State, War, VP, and AG. Cap it there. Abolish everything else
16. No foreign aid while we are in debt
17. Return to the gold standard and subsidize it with other precious metals.
18. National Ron Paul Day of Celebration
19. Single issue bills only.
20. all congressmen who vote in favor of war must send their first born son
21. Abolish the tax code.
21. No pay for Congress during a shutdown.
22. Cut spending by 7% a year
23. Make the Declaration of Independence the Law of the Land.
24. Abolish birthright citizenship
25. Reinstate the 1948 Smith-Mundt Act’s domestic dissemination ban on propaganda.
26. Fix the food— the soil, the GMOs, the dyes, the chemicals. Make food food again
27. Ban communism.
28. Ban transing kids
29. Death penalty for pedophiles
30. Reinstate duels
This is just a start. I reserve the right to add to this list.
English

@jess_ann_pin That’s a knife that cuts both ways. Women seem comfortable being a side-chick in stead of selecting a slightly lower status man who would be faithful.
English

@LuscioussLayla That’s not a fair comparison. Relationship sex is very different from sex with a sex worker, especially in your first few relationships.
English

@Dav_Kaiser @DanniBrener We should really about this. Regardless of desires, no-fault divorce isn’t going to end. Traditional relationships are a phantom of the past. We can only deal with circumstances on the basis of reality. People who believe otherwise are doomed to pain and suffering.
English

No, we want you to come back to your senses.
You've been brainwashed for a long, long time. By posts/videos like the one below. On every platform available. Very subtile. Almost unnoticeable if you don't look.
And you can see from where it is coming. It's a psyops.
All this things they put in your head has one intent only. To destroy the Western Civilization. That's all they want.
And they used and are using you women as the nuclear bomb by planting all these weird thoughts. Because they know you are the easy gender to manipulate, following the flow. For a long time.
It's sad, actually.

English

@TaraBull Definitely useful for entertainment, maybe useful for home defense. Also, definitely illegal.
English

@imriona The bride gets a say, and offer her desired choice, for selecting the big day. It’s up to the bride to account for those issues when the couple negotiates the day.
English

That’s the problem with all the so-called “green” technologies, all people know is what they see. I own a Tesla and I like it, but more goes into it than electricity. Take the battery, it takes a lot of diesel to get the materials for the battery out of the ground, and then there are the chemicals from the refining process. A lot goes into making these things that is not great for the environment.
English

Hydrogen is the stupidest, most ridiculous, and most impossible energy alternative. It takes 5 to 10 times more energy than it returns. This has been known since 2004, yet hydrogen refuses to die.
It is far from renewable because it contains no energy at all—energy must be forced into it like a battery—and you lose even more when converting it back to electricity. It has the worst energy return of any alternative: far more energy goes in than you ever get back.
Consider the process: you first split hydrogen from natural gas or use far more energy to electrolyze it from water, then compress or liquefy it, build extremely expensive and short-lived steel containers and pipelines (since hydrogen embrittles them), and finally deliver it to virtually non-existent hydrogen vehicles. Fuel cell technology remains far from commercial.
It is also highly explosive. Hydrogen requires 12 times less energy to ignite than gasoline vapor, so the smallest spark or heat source can turn it into a bomb.

hydrogen Powered Car, 1,500 km range with a 5-second refill… sounds illegal.
