Now I get what your saying. I’m current LE and I love having armor. Have used it multiple times for armed barricades. Aside from the douche bags enforcing mask mandates and lockdowns. F those guys. But where was a bearcat, rhino or any armored vehicle used to enforce anything to do with COVId? Did I miss something? I’m going to go on a small rant here. Just like my morbid Red dawn-esque fantasy of fighting invading Russians got crushed ( witnessing how they can’t handle Ukraine) your future isn’t going to be rolling street battles with local police bro. Go ask how many guys are on duty in your city per shift It’s laughable. Your enemy is already here and it isn’t the guy giving you a ticket for speeding. It’s someone who walked across the border waiting for the time and place and it’s the person who has been elected and makes rules for you right now. It’s the desperate neighbor who wants what you have and it’s gotten so bad that they are willing to take it from you. I wouldn’t worry about that armor, I would worry about the pen in the hand of the people in place that will allow the continued slow decay and as it gets worse you will simply learn to accept and live on. Then one day you won’t recognize what’s in front of you. And the whole police are the enforcers of state tyranny thing. Look around you homie. Look at where we’ve come as a country. All that without a bearcat or that PD swat team hitting your house. Stop letting them make us the boogeyman and start going after the real problem. Enforcement of laws is necessary in a civil society. And officer discretion allows me to not enforce the bad ones. I can’t wait to leave this job because if this anti police shit.
