Scheduling posts was never the hard part. Buffer solved that a decade ago. The hard part is having something to post. Writing it in your voice, for every platform, every week, then replying to everyone who comments. That's not a scheduling problem. That's a job. The one you'd pay a freelancer/employee for your business. So I built posthell to do it instead. You tell it what happened -> it writes the post in your voice->tailors it for each platform -> adds a real image, and queues it. It even drafts your replies. Nothing goes out until you approve.

nobody wants to talk about pricing until they're already undercharging and burnt out. you picked a number that felt "reasonable." not too high to scare people off, not so low it looked desperate. six months later you're doing twice the work for half what you need to make it sustainable. price for the customer you want, not the one you're afraid to lose.

the first hire most founders make is someone to do the thing they hate. that's backwards. hire for the thing you're doing that only you can do, so you can stop doing everything else. the stuff you hate is usually the stuff you're also doing wrong.

most founders treat their first 100 followers like a waiting room. "i'll start posting seriously once the audience is bigger." but the founders who grew fast posted like they had 10,000 followers when they had 80. same energy, same consistency, same willingness to say something they actually believed. the audience size didn't change the output. the output changed the audience size. what's the one post you've been sitting on because it felt "too early" to share?

SEO feels slow so people quit before it pays off. then they spend the same three months running ads, stop when the budget runs out, and have nothing to show for it. at least with SEO the work stacks. a blog post you wrote in 2022 can bring in a lead today. the ad you ran in 2022 stopped the second you stopped paying. the math isn't complicated. the patience is.

most founders spend months making the product better when it's not selling. it's rarely the product. it's that nobody outside their existing network has actually seen it. they've posted a few times, told their friends, maybe ran one ad. then concluded the market doesn't want it. distribution is boring to build and hard to measure, so it gets skipped. the product gets another feature instead. if your product has paying customers who stuck around, it's good enough to grow. the question is whether enough people are finding it. fix the funnel before you fix the product.

build in public isn't dead. the version where you post milestones and revenue screenshots and call it "transparency" is dead. founders figured out that vulnerability performs well, so they started manufacturing it. loss porn. fake struggle. "we almost shut down" posts written from a beach house. the audience caught on. of course they did. real build in public is just... showing the actual work. the boring spreadsheet. the support ticket you don't know how to answer. the feature you built that nobody asked for. that stuff still lands. because nobody's faking it.

the founder who posts every day isn't winning because of consistency. they're winning because after 90 days of posting, they finally figured out what their audience actually cares about. the reps are the research.

Posted 3 sarcastic "billion-dollar app ideas" as a joke: 194k views 18k views 12k views Meanwhile, I've spent 30 days posting seriously about AI, tech, and what I'm building. Barely crossed 1,000 views on any of them. The ideas were deliberately stupid. Zero effort. And they outperformed a month of real work by 200x. I don't know what to do with this information, but I thought you should suffer with me.

most founders think they're bad at marketing. they're not. they're just talking about their product instead of the problem their customer wakes up anxious about. nobody searches for "AI social scheduler". they search for "why does my posting feel pointless". start there.
