Best Spurs performance of the season, easily. Never seen them win so many 50-50s. Created chances and should have scored more. Everyone worked so hard and defended well. They are finally moving in the right direction again.

Have to feel for West Ham. Spurs would lose this game normally but with Villa making so many changes because of Europa it's a gift for Tottenham

@DougieCritchley The last 2 reds have been ridiculous and if this continues managers like arteta will insist their team all grow pony tails for marginal games. Professional footballers are too pampered and it isn't violent conduct. Office workers don't sue when their hair is accidentally touched

Despite what you might believe as a long-term bald man, I'm pro hair rights! Players shouldn't have their hair pulled during games, accident or not. It's not acceptable and even I remember it's painful. We don't want to see one of the few ways footballers can express themselves stylistically... with their hair... being controlled in anyway. That's getting into uncomfortable territory. Afraid it's got to be on the defending player to avoid touching their opponent's hair... which let's face it, generally shouldn't be too difficult.

@CDEccleshare Let's fans it VAR won't add any value whilst it's the group of referees involved. Their decision making is poor and they would rather tell their mate they're right then use critical thinking to make a decision.

Picking up on cowardly and dangerous fouls like this that can be hard for refs to see is one of the few areas where VAR could actually add value.

@grassrootsrefJa @DaleJohnsonBBC He said it. And the way evidence based decision making is using similar incidents to clarify a threshold on how a law should be applied. Agree he's not saying he's every ref but he is saying this type of incident is a clear foul

@grassrootsrefJa @DaleJohnsonBBC No. Just evidence based. Banks said on pitch and TV push in back is a foul 'end of'. Then the laws say yellow card is a reckless action. Pushing a player travelling at pace into an oncoming playing or advertising hoarding is reckless. So simple decision with reasoning skills
