🎬 Weapons (2025) A terrific unique horror movie, though not for everyone. Weapons offers an incredibly smart take on multiple perspectives surrounding a horrifying incident, the disappearance of 17 children from a single class, on a single night at the same time, except for one who didn’t go missing. The runtime and narrative structure allow every cast member to showcase their presence, and their mindset towards this incident. While for 'some' the slow-burning tension might lead some to an unsatisfying ending... I was mesmerized by this bold take on supernatural horror. The jump scares hit every time, and both Julia Garner and Josh Brolin absolutely steal the show.
