@JA9ballr @anon_opin Royle Family was a pioneer of non-laugh track sitcoms. All of the shows after arguably don’t happen without it

@anon_opin 5/10 is bang on for OFAH but Royle Family bang average too. Peep and Thick of it are GOATS which funnily enough don't require a laugh track whereas OFAH does. Tells u all u need to know, try watching it without the laugh track. Is it as funny? Same applies to friends and TBBT.

Only Fools and Horses is a 5 or 6 out of 10 and that's it. Men go on and on about it because they feel like they have to. It has some great moments, but a shit tonne of unfunny filler. It's not a patch on something like Peep Show, The Royle Family, or The Thick of It.

Although it's perhaps unwise for Richard Ayoade to publicly endorse a book by a transphobic writer, nothing in his quote is actually transphobic. He just praised the guy's writing talents. Still think Richard Ayoade would make a fantastic Doctor in Doctor Who after Ncuti Gatwa.

Seeing Peter Kay at the O2 tonight. Been a fan of his since I was 12, he is the only comedian that all of my family will laugh at together and will always have a special place in my heart even if my comedy tastes have developed a bit since then. Should be a great night
