INTROSPECTION: Some people just don’t like me because of me, but it’s never really me… Sure, I can be over reactive and sensitive at times … insecure of course (I was programmed to feel like I was never good enough and I was weird and a loser) … YET before the presence of even my enemies God prepares me a table … he makes me to lie down in green pastures and restores my soul … I don’t always know what the hell I am talking about, I sometimes get upset when my feelings are hurt and can even come across as needy …. And I certainly hate things not being quickly resolved. I have learned it is better to say sorry, while even knowing you aren’t truly wrong because the other may not be insightful enough to recognize the pain they cause by lashing out in the first place. Very few I allow to see the more insecure and fantastical side of me, thankfully my wife , my children , my neighbors , my viewers and readers Love me for just that True Friendship requires meeting people where they are at, and loving them for their good and their bad and forgiving them for their worst … …. I’ve been rejected so many times, betrayed so many times, hurt, robbed, beat, abused so so many times …. But I am who God has made me to be…. And with each day I mature into a more peaceful, more secure, more fearless man, one that God will call a good servant and say well done. My District Manager told me yesterday , Jake you are so hard on yourself … I’m their top salesman, and he seemed confused by that …. It was foreign to me, because No matter how great I am… I never feel worthy of the beautiful life God has given me. So for those friends who get upset when we don’t hold back how we feel, and we express who we truly are, meet us where we are at … and if who we are offends you to the point you throw the baby out with the bath water, perhaps we are not the real problem… Forgive them Father they know not what they do ….. This is the attitude we should all have if we are to win hearts and minds for our Great God of Love. So I will not always say what popular opinion states, I will say what I feel is right, I don’t care who leaves or complains or attacks … I have to do the best I can to serve God and others… I’m going to make mistakes, but if you are my friend, you will always be my friend regardless if you lash out or abandon or whatever to me… and if you do not consider me a friend, I hope you choose to as I promise to always try my best, can the same be said for everyone? The problem doesn’t really lie with us when rejection comes to our door, it lies within those who don’t yet know how to love unconditionally… something we all can work on. ♥️ Have a great day everyone

Please say a prayer for an old dear friend of mine Elwin Roach … when I was in my early twenties sharing the things I’m sharing today, Elwin and a handful of other Elders who understood God’s love and had a much deeper understanding of scripture were not only confirming voices but aged men who saw me, a young guy with nothing but faith as a peer… today, at the Gym, it seemed that Elwin called me … he didn’t. He is in the Hospital, his family is enroute to be with him … I called him just now and he considered it a miracle … I reminded him of what an impact he made on my life and how kind hearted he was to take calls from some nobody young man with a different vision of God … I felt this heavily, and I told him he has one more essay in him … he was a different man after we talked … God bless him and his family, if today is the day he passes… God sent a message of Love to this man this morning and it really felt powerful and wonderful and I hope he recovers… haven’t talked to him in probably a year.
