ASU hockey players expected to be in the portal, per sources: Cullen Potter (major loss) Ty Nash, Joel Kjellberg, Sam Court, Anthony Dowd and Justin Kipkie. Several additions expected soon. Money more of a factor this year due to rev share edge for non-FBS football schools.

(2/2) The next panel was with icon, Cheryl Miller and Delta State asst coach Julie Church. Miller was celebrated for being the #1 ranked player in the history of the AP Poll era and Delta State was honored for being the first team to be #1 in the first ever AP poll back in 1976.

(1/2) I got the chance to watch two panels at the AP Top 25 Fan Poll Experience. The first panel was with former ASU women’s basketball head coach Charli Turner Thorne, current ASU women’s basketball head coach Molly Miller and legendary women’s basketball writer Jeff Metcalfe.

(3/3) Now take a look at that grey line all the way to the right. That was the only time UConn even had a chance to win this game. That probability spike came on one of the greatest NCAA tournament game winners ever from Huskies freshman guard Braylon Mullins. Absolute CINEMA!

(2/3) You see how Duke’s area at the bottom is shaded? That means they had an overwhelming chance to win this game. In fact, the highest percentage for the Blue Devils to win was at 98.7% when they held a 44-25 lead over the Huskies with 1:33 left in the first half.

(1/3) If you want to get a good idea of how improbable UConn’s 73-72 win over Duke was, check out this win probability graph by ESPN Analytics. The white line shows Duke’s win probability and the gray dotted line shows UConn’s win probability.

Opening Day is the best day. Because it means seven straight months of real, meaningful baseball. And that's something for everyone to celebrate.
