An interesting read for MHSTs delivering parent-led interventions.
This paper gives an overview of the evidence base for parent-led CBT for child anxiety problems, discusses some of the clinical challenges and ways to overcome them.

@thismorning I think it would have been really beneficial to have had a children’s mental health Practitioner alongside Mr P to give some practical advice on the transition from year 6 to year 7. Would have helped a lot of parents support their children during summer

@Autism Today my team and I at @Compass4health Central and West Lancashire MHSTs held a bake sale and autism acceptance training day! We raised £144.16 for your incredible charity. A great day had by all involved 😊

My message is: You are never alone. People care about you so talk to someone, reach out and you will be heard. Bullying is never ok and should never be tolerated but always remember you are stronger than you know, smarter than you think and are more loved than you will ever know!

If you could share one message to a young person who is being bullied, and has low self-esteem, what would it be? Someone may really need to hear what you have to say.

What a lovely idea, could definitely be used in interventions with younger children

The infant class have spent some time thinking about being worried or scared and having courage anyway. We talked about our worries and who can help us. When we’ve talked about our worries with someone we trust, we can feed them to our worry monster so they disappear! 💕
