On the side and in-between work, a family and now a YouTube channel, I like to build models. This one has taken me 9 months. She's the @Airfix 1/48 kit and in the scheme of @BlickyIan aircraft XR754. Fairly happy with how she's come together in the end.

'The GOAT and his Unsung Hero'
This image captures Sir Jackie Stewart demonstrating his championship-winning 1971 Tyrrell 003 Ford at the F1 Historic Challenge held at Long Beach, California in 2023. Sir Jackie is widely considered one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time, being a triple World Champion in a variety of cars and a life-long change-maker for driver safety. He is a legend of the sport.
The Tyrrell 003 Ford itself is probably the greatest unsung hero of F1, being one of the most successful designs ever. It won a total of 8 races, the most for an individual chassis until the Red Bull Racing RB19 surpassed its record in 2023 - more than 50 years later!
Originally rendered in pencil and pastel by fine artist Mark J Davey, this piece is reproduced using specialist, fine art giclee printing methods.
