Hoje minha Monik, meu amor partiu... depois de 30 dias lutando na UTI. Queria começar agradecendo o apoio de todos, pelas mensagens de carinho e orações.❤️ Foram 15 anos ao lado dela, a mulher que me ensinou a viver, sem ela não existiria Senhor Linguiça e nem estaria onde estou, sou eternamente grato, nunca será esquecida e sempre será amada e muito obrigado por ter me dado uma linda filha e um enteado! @RoboNuggie @RonaldoRussel In my experience, the XFCE4 flavor of GhostBSD 26.1 needs more work. The live system worked well, but post-install mouse cursor settings reverted to default after a reboot and the settings app was unresponsive. FreeBSD 15 is fine on the same box. (Dell precision T1700)

I watched your videos, @RoboNuggie, and decided to give GhostBSD a try. I think it’s going to become my main OS. I’ve been using Linux for 23 years, but I actually started with AIX and HP-UX.

A friend bought me a thoughtful gift during a trip to Paraty, Rio de Janeiro. It was a very nice surprise. I just loved it.

The meme became reality. Today I couldn’t pay my bus fare with my cellphone because the payment device froze, and the bus driver had to turn it off and on again… the whole bus! 🤣

I miss my grandfather. He passed away some time ago… maybe more than a decade ago, but I can’t remember exactly when it happened. I don’t know why, but for some reason I can never remember when my loved ones pass away. This morning, I was crossing a footbridge over the highway, walking slowly, lost in thought, when a song started playing in my earphones and took me back to my 20s, when I was still a young man visiting my grandfather. Back then, I thought I had life figured out. I was full of answers, and I used to see the world in very simple terms… you know? Like black and white. I didn’t feel the need to talk to him about life, to share my thoughts, or to listen to his stories. Naively, I considered myself just as wise as he was. Nowadays, I’m humble enough to admit that I’m full of doubts, and that’s okay. I just think it’s unfair that it takes us so long to understand these things. I felt that bittersweet longing for more time, but in the end, it doesn’t really matter… even 83 years would never feel long enough with the people we love. I was pulled out of my daydream by the security guard greeting me as I walked through the turnstile and toward the administration building. ... and just like that, I started my day thinking about my grandfather, my hero.
