Really excited to be working in my first franchise tournament as analyst for Brampton Wolves in the @GT20Canada. A lot of hard work to get to this point and thank you to everyone who has helped me get here. Buzzing with this opportunity!

@ronan_45 This is cool, but basically a function of two facts - (i) Cross being utterly abysmal by international wk standards, and (ii) a period when Greaves was used a lot at #7 despite being nowhere near good enough.

Wrote this 2 years ago. Still a clear problem. No Leask or a set McMullen/Berrington = terrible death overs. Last 4 overs this World Cup England: 25 for 2 West Indies: 15 for 5 Italy: 44 for 2 (McMullen set & Leask) Nepal: 35 for 4 Watt’s improved. Use his LH option more.

The way Scotland use Michael Leask 🤦‍♂️ poor record against spin, smashes seam at the death. Bring him in in the 13th over against Rashid & Dawson and he’s out to spin and not there to finish the innings. Brought him in at the wrong time in 2/3 games.

Scotland have struggled most against left-arm seam, especially up front and at the end of the innings. Pleasantly surprised to see no Luke Wood, given that would be his exact role and he’s very good at it.

@WillLineUps @cricmetric Search for the player you want, scroll down to the bottom where it says ‘link to detailed stats’. Then this group by feature to select what you want to see. Can also change it to the format you want. Test, ODI, T20I, T20 or all T20’s.

@WillLineUps Just not that common, maybe worth adding in if someone has faced a lot of it. But for most it’s about 25 runs from 20 balls with 1 dismissal so doesn’t really offer much insight.

@ronan_45 How come you don’t use left arm leg spin? Lack of data? Or just not that common

@PJ211705 Is that for every game now? I’m sure in the past it was only for about half of the games one had to be in the XI?
