🙈 Our homelessness day centre’s commercial-size dishwasher has broken and the engineer says it cannot be repaired. We need a new one before Monday otherwise our hot food service will be severely affected. It’s the worst possible time. 🥹 A cost of around £3k!

My darling 96year old friend, Connie, had a fall last night but managed to get herself to her bed. Has taken 10mins to get through on 999, then to be told the expected waiting time across the NW for an ambulance is 9hrs 40 mins. 😓 What do I do for her until then? 🥹#nhs #health

@Hannah_CEPSW No idea what they’ll ask but a recruitment consultant told me once that she noticed interviewees who repeated the question slowly and out loud seemed to give better answers - she thought that tiny space of time just meant their brain could unfreeze. It has always worked for me.

I have a “one hour Q and A” interview for a job in a statutory fostering team next week. I’m really keen to do well in the interview but my brain is unpredictable as to if it wants to work on the day. Anyone got any advice or insight into what questions I may get asked? TIA

Etonian sense of entitlement. After reading this brilliant book by @KuperSimon I conclude that it’s the ‘boys’ that come up to Oxford from Eton that have the belief that they were born for power. Sadly, our society believes - and votes for - this too.😕
