Feel really sorry for the lad, he had a great season last season. Been a non-entity of a season for him with his injury. We know we’ll always give his all & he’s good to have in squad, but I really don’t think him at RWB in the Prem is sensible.

@McClumsy84 I just hope the club manages to maintain the side before self attitude. Not signing high paid high profiles. Good core with some extras on a higher level. We need two more seasons to adopt and be stable.

@ronhan64 Agree. We have a solid core. We signed 10 players last summer. This time I hope that maybe we can sign 5 players in areas where they are needed. I hope (and expect) that these 5 will be of a high quality. Next season we are hoping (I think) to move into a mid-table position.

@McClumsy84 On that, too much negativity and picking on players. Some seem to know all about who should/can/able to etc. I think we have a solid base in the squad, need more of course

@ronhan64 I hope they don't. I like them both. I think they can be exciting players to watch. But of course I don't make the decisions, it's not something that I (or any other fans) have control over.

@McClumsy84 100% this should be the target. Have a squad that is able to play diff formations. 4-3-3 or 3-5-2 or whatever. That is why i dont think WG or DJ are the ones to go

@ronhan64 True. That's what I hope for tbh. I want flexibility. I want us to be able to play different formations, use different tactics, depending on the opposition. I'd hope that should be possible with a 25-man squad.

Commentary team were far too concerned with Villa and ignoring the fact Tottenham earned that by every conceivable metric. Work rate, attitude and game plan all executed perfectly. They did not let Villa breathe. There are zero gimmes in the Premier League.
