@MateusListrado @onyichii Whatever works for you. I believe there is a value in figuring out things yourself, instead of looking for the answer in books

@ronikage @onyichii I remember studying this book (and others) and feeling trapped by the need to make everything 'correct'—it made my drawings static. But this is just my personal experience with these methods, and I totally understand they might work better for other artists

@MateusListrado @onyichii Absolutely! One thing that I learned is you should draw ideas from the reference, not the reference itself. To make the drawing clearer than the reference.

@ronikage @onyichii Sometimes perfect anatomy or perspective can actually make a figure feel stiff and less engaging to the viewer.

@MateusListrado @onyichii Funny how that person also asked you about FORCE method. Not to advertise or anything, but they also teach you about silhouette and shape design in the FORCE method.

@onyichii While I'm familiar with this method, my current focus is synthesizing rhythmic flow with compelling silhouette design shifting slightly from pure anatomy to more design oriented figure work

@Jmartin0132 @_N0R0 Awesome work! How do you come up with ideas for these sketches? Do you look for reference or come up with something out of your head?

@odity_odes Awesome work! Does the sparrow have to do something with the character, like his pet, or is it here just to symbolize the character's name?

Samurai. Tried a bunch of new things with black lines and multiple colors for the skin to make it look more alive. #Samurai #art

Having 0 followers is overpowered because you can post absolute garbage art, and no one would care
