Hmm…well, I’m disappointed in his critique of “how” to hit the ball in the air. It’s not as much about a “good pitch” (that IS a part of it) but also contact point (at or just in front of front leg) positive attack angle, and upper body posture. I hope he was just “keeping it simple” with his response but fear perhaps he doesn’t have a complete understanding of what causes an ideal launch angle. IMO, his upper body posture at front foot strike is not back enough

@tylermilliken_ Trevor Story is entitled to feel how he feels. My gripe is that he pushed his case publicly when it didn’t benefit his team to do that. Particularly when you’re struggling at the plate and a below-ave defender, the right thing to do is shut the fuck up and play better baseball.

Trevor Story didn’t walk back anything he said yesterday. Seems like he explained how he felt. Breslow obviously feels different. But they’re both ready to move forward. Everything is raw. Story won’t sour. Just give it time. The power of communication.

Well, Story is entitled to his opinion. Mine is that these cochs had PLENTY of time to prove themselves the last few years and they failed on almost all fronts . Change was necessary. As an employee of the Red Sox, I also do t feel they (Sox Ownership) owes Story ANYTHING. Story needs to shut up and do his job, just like I would have to with my employer.
