I've reached 1k followers and I don't plan to waste my focus on celebrating. I'm confident that the journey to 10k will be 10x faster, with all the lessons I've learned. I'm not a growth guru, but the lessons I've learned from my mistakes have proven to be worth their weight in gold for me. 🎯Some valuable lessons to mention: - Constantly tweeting about your SaaS will keep you in the grey zone of gaining 50 followers/month - forever. You haven't yet built the credibility to tweet non-stop about your SaaS. Share only the most interesting things sparingly - Wandering through the For You feed will drain every atom of your energy and you'll end up going to bed after just 1 hour. Use Advanced Search (my previous post) to find the most relevant accounts, follow them, study their posts and make a plan around them - Reading too many pointless tweets will fry your ability to come up with a creative idea. Filter them out as soon as possible, create your feed by making a List of relevant accounts. Don't let yourself be an example of Garbage In - Garbage Out - You can set high goals, but not expectations. Many people end up creating a vitamin SaaS solution, which is totally optional and expect huge reach, just because they've idealized their SaaS solution in their mind. Please avoid this - this is a situation that causes a huge number of people to quit, because it seems to them that they lack the necessary qualities for this journey. Invest more time in analyzing discussions, Reddit, Twitter, etc., and then make a painkiller, which people will buy driven by emotions, because they are in need of a solution to their fire-problem at that moment - Don't try to apply every guru advice you see - burnout will come sooner than you think. You are more sensitive than you think. Applies to this post as well - if it seems like guru advice to you. Don't waste your energy These are just some of the important points, I believe there are many more. I'll try to cover the rest in some of my future posts.
