Day 3/7 Had the most fun drawing this mosaic style art of @LewisHamilton in the entire series. P.s - like i said the watermark is modified according to the specific art. Gave this art a breaking off feel as well. #TeamLH

@F1_driven It's just his PR team in full swing. We can't even read the tweets in the screenshot. This is just proving the insane PR Verstappen has on X...

Mercedes Compression Ratio may be a red herring Do you remember in 2013/14 when Mercedes were winning everything and the talk of the paddock was their amazing split turbocharger, for which they even won Powertrain Innovation of the Year? We later found out that the real reason for their dominance was their revolutionary (and highly secret) plasma jet ignition system. The advantage was so big that Toto turned the turbo boost down to make it look smaller. Do you remember when Brawn GP had their controversial double diffuser? They had a massive advantage, were accused of cheating and even taken to court. But a lot of the aero advantage on that car actually came from the outwash front wing, which almost nobody was talking about at the time. Now everyone is saying Mercedes are dominant because their car has a higher compression ratio at race temperature, but I’m getting a sense of déjà vu. After all, if compression ratio was the race-winning advantage, all the Mercedes-engined cars should be fastest on the straights.

Brakechecks his own teammate then defends like Sainz when he tries to overtake 💀

🟥Ferrari had no chance in the #ChineseGP: 🟦Mercedes were the 'Kings of Wear', as their laptimes NEVER trended upwards! 1st stint (🟡Mediums): Mercedes held a constant pace, while Ferrari showed degradation 2nd (⚪️Hards): Mercedes first ran steadily, then started pushing, improving by ~1 s/lap (despite increasingly worn tyres!). They gained up to 0.9 s/lap on Ferrari and later ran sub-1:36 laps Ferrari's wear hurt by: -In-team battles -Pushing harder in corners to offset the power deficit -Possibly running less downforce due to lower PU output -Possibly, Car traits/setup that stress the tyres more Cars now start with ~70 kg of fuel (vs ~100 kg before). Empty vs full tank is worth ~2s, not ~3s, yet Mercedes still improved their pace through the stint In the end, it didn't matter: Mercedes were unreachable. This feels like 2015 again: Mercedes fastest, Ferrari clearly 2nd, and no other real #F1 title contender

max about the regs: “some drivers will say it's great because they win races, and that's fine too. if you have an advantage, why would you give it up? because you never know if you'll ever have a good car again. but if you just talk to most of the drivers then it's not what we like. i don't think the real formula 1 fans like it. maybe some fans like it, but they don't understand motorsport, but yes, hopefully we can get rid of this as soon as possible.” [gpblog]

Max Verstappen was highly critical of the Red Bull RB22 in China. PF1's resident data expert @uros_radovanovc took a deeper look at what exactly is going on.

This is how to race…. Not a single dive bomb to the apex in sight
