@dripsey1 Thank you Dr. Sandra. It will be great to introduce student teachers to this resource as it will inform many of them of the care system which many lack awareness of as I am too well aware from my own peers of educators. Great to see it will be used in MIC.

Finally, after 5 years of work, we have created a resource for educators across the country to access to help them become #careaware and help them understand the care system in a professional manner and from the perspective of children that have been in or left the care system.

Very powerful & relatable words here from @rorybrown23 It was hearing stories like his while I was in foster care that gave me the courage to speak out about my experiences &embrace the care community fully it shows that positive stories are so important for young people in care.

Exactly this. Well done Rory. Say it loud and be proud. Keeping the fact they are in care a secret is a burden children in care should not carry. The media needs to change the narrative and show how extraordinary children in care are.
