Peeps seem to have played some very interesting underwater-themed RTS games, so I have a question for you. What do you think are the main elements (visually/graphically) which make the atmosphere of the deep ocean work?
One example I have here is a game from the Paradox guys, looks pretty dope (Surviving the Abyss).

We are working on a deep-sea mining, colony building game with horror undertones. I am wondering, what kind of visual style would people prefer? (Gathering references) Left-Oldschool: @DorfRTS, @FolklandsGame Right-Modern 3D: Cossacks 3 The game is going to be dark, with heavy focus on light and shadows 🔦 Please send your own ideas 🙏
