@roseyb_89 @TirChonaillAbu Why are they masked?
English

Carla and the whole team showed exemplary proactive engagement, sensitively addressing residents’ concerns, de-escalating tensions, and ensuring that the situation remained conflict-free. Well done for being pro-active and not inflaming tensions like a certain work-adverse MP. 👏
Chris Hazzard MP@ChrisHazzardSF
South Down is a welcoming place defined by beautiful forests, mountains, and beaches - not masked intimidation Next time you visit @carlalockhart you should look into what our constituency actually has to offer, rather than standing with masked men intimidating women & children
English

@NorthDownIt Two tier policing as always. We see online campaigns run by @PSNIANDistrict, @ANBorough and groups about ending violence against women but when online and offline campaigns like this occur it is brushed under the carpet as a civil matter and no call for prosecution of culprits.
English

@roseyb_89 The only people showing hatred is the people behind stuff like that "shoot your local orange bastard" which is also an incitement to murder. No arrests yet ??. As for the 1% fair play for sticking through living with that pile of shite as neighbor's. No Surrender ❤🇬🇧✊🙏
English

@TirChonaillAbu You may see thugs; others see individuals voicing concerns & opposing views while fearing repercussions in their studies or careers. But on the contrary I suppose there was no alternative to standing beside unmasked terrorists stating support for them & their late comrades

English

@roseyb_89 Really? You would think a nationalist MP standing in front of masked thugs would be normal and perfectly ok?
English

@TirChonaillAbu If they were proactively engaging with residents like Carla & the other elected representatives were—listening to people’s views & concerns, liaising with residents over safety breaches, & acting as proactive mediators—then why would their actions be viewed any differently?
English

@roseyb_89 Rosemary, if this were a nationalist MP in this photo, what would your reaction be?
Genuine question and I'd appreciate an honest answer.

@roseyb_89 What a load of nonsense I've just read lol. I'm proud to be a working class Loyalist/Unionist
English

What a mindset to have 🤯
Unionism is represented across every layer of society, with individuals from all backgrounds contributing in different ways. Each has a distinct role in upholding the Union & using their voice to promote the wellbeing & prosperity of their communities.
Francisco de Béal Feirste@bealfeiriste
@roseyb_89 If you were genuinely “strong working class” You wouldn’t be a Unionist ! 🤷♂️
English

@BrianOdrahn03 It makes perfect sense. The youth are the future and you can’t map a future without the future voices having their input to shaping and developing it.
English

@BrianOdrahn03 Accountability and transparency is key. Personally for my own previous campaign no schools were visited. Maybe that was my downfall not engaging more with youth. I’ll take that on board if ever the opportunity arises again. Thank you for the suggestion. ☺️
English

@roseyb_89 Ok.
I will be asking the question in future campaign trails to see if equality is reached out.
Thanks very much.
English

@BrianOdrahn03 Breakdown in simplest form;
~Yesterday Franks door to door started.
~Available members from across the whole party took to West Belfast to assist. Leader, deputy leader, deputy first minister, junior minister, MPs, MLAs, Cllrs & party members, like me.
~I’m North Belfast branch
English

@roseyb_89 Are you on the campaign trail for the West Belfast Candidate or have you tweeted this in error?
English

@BrianOdrahn03 I personally won’t be in attendance of any West Belfast school, as I am based in North Belfast & not standing for Assembly. Yesterday, I assisted in the first round of canvassing in an area I was born & raised in & god willingly will be back at a later date if dates align again.
English

@roseyb_89 Yes they do.
During events that the school may have.
The school coordinator of that year group or the HOD may get in touch with that elected rep.
A candidate's visit is a personal choice during a campaign trail.
So for the third time.
Are you visiting Irish schools in WB?
English

@AntonMcG And what is the alternative? Or was there no alternative to what is/was good for business and progress?
English

@roseyb_89 No, I disagree.
Unionism is represented in a small few areas, that have much in common.
Unionism is, and will always be, bad for business and progress. It's been that way for over 50 years, and that's why it's declining.
People want better for their families.
English

@BrianOdrahn03 Schools tend to outreach to political parties to offer them the opportunity to discuss issues with politics students. As I am not the West Belfast Candidate, I cannot confirm if Mr McCoubrey will be attending any schools over his campaign trail or not. If interested get in touch.
English

@roseyb_89 I deleted it because of a typo.
Again Rosemary for the third time.
You're not answering my question.
No schools apply for a visit during an election campaign.
It's the candidate Choice.
Will you be visiting the Irish schools in West Belfast during the campaign trail?
English

@BrianOdrahn03 No sarcasm intended, like I stated in your now deleted reply. It was a genuine analysis.
If you are actually interested in a visit from the unionist candidate for your school. I would advise, like other schools do, to apply for a visit through the candidate’s office.
English

@roseyb_89 You guys?
Who are you guys?
Knickers in a twist?
I didn't ask for a sarcastic reply Rosemary.
So here it is again.
Will you be visiting the Irish Schools in West Belfast during the campaign trail and if not why?
English

@BrianOdrahn03 Sure you guys get your knickers in a twist when the community police attend for talks regarding knife crime and drugs misuse. An educational talk to aid community safety. So I can’t see there being a warm welcome for a Unionist Party who believe in protecting the Act of Union.
English

@roseyb_89 @PhillipBrett21 So are we visiting the Irish schools in West Belfast or are they not on the campaign trail.
What's the story?
English

@Eq5tFpM2eBw9PZi Your form, like your narrative is way off.
