Scam Altman and Greg Stockman stole a charity. Full stop. Greg got tens of billions of stock for himself and Scam got dozens of OpenAI side deals with a piece of the action for himself, Y Combinator style. After this lawsuit, Scam will also be awarded tens of billions in stock directly. The fundamental question is simply this: Do you want to set legal precedent in the United States that it is ok to loot a charity? If so, you undermine all charitable giving in the United States forever. I could have started OpenAI as a for-profit corporation. Instead, I started it, funded it, recruited critical talent and taught them everything I know about how to make a startup successful FOR THE PUBLIC GOOD. Then they stole the charity.
X Freeze@XFreeze

Interesting how it works Elon puts up his own money, rounds up the absolute best AI talent on the planet, leverages every connection he has to secure serious resources, and launches OpenAI in 2015 as a pure non-profit explicitly created to develop AI for the benefit of humanity, with zero profit motive and open research Then the “team” decides they want the bag They push Elon out, take control, and quietly flip the entire thing into a for-profit machine All while preaching the same sanctimonious lines on repeat: “We’re still mission-driven!” “AI for the good of humanity!” “We’d never abandon our principles!” The ultimate betrayal: Elon got zero equity. Not a single share. He funded it. He built the foundation. He got nothing while they turned his non-profit into their personal cash cow This is the level of betrayal and hypocrisy we’re dealing with And for the record.... this lawsuit doesn’t put a single penny in Elon’s pocket. Any win goes straight back to the non-profit to restore the exact mission he founded

20 years ago, I was studying abroad at the @UnivofGh. Like spaceflight, it was a positive, life-changing, perspective-deepening experience. Seeing the beauty of Ghana from space reminds me of the amazing people I met there and how in exploring the world, we learn about ourselves.

@fiifi_manfred It truly confirms their stupidity to sit there and wait for someone to come and do the right thing, which should have been done a long time ago.

Bro, Enzo didn't even say anything about the project or directly to the decision-makers; he just talked about his personal plans. Cucurella's interview last night was basically the same—personal plans. Cucurella's interview with The Athletic is just different. It's a straight bullet to our decision-makers. I would love for Enzo to do that too. I'm not sure anyone in the squad would hate that, even James. They all want a better project. Talking about potential transfer out of the club and sending a message to the owners and SDs to mend their ways are completely two different things or contexts.

I won’t be surprised if the western imperialists come out tomorrow to label Mahama as corrupt and send CIA to wok with the NPP. Mahama has proven to be the Nkrumah of our time and God is with him

@GBNEWS When you designed the entire slave trade system and colonised countries and looted their resources, you didn't realise you were destroying their future economies.

@Abe_Kowo @BenObeseJecty The UK has been sinking money into Africa for as long as anyone can remember. Why don’t you give that back, and all the benefits you derived from that, and then we can talk about “reparations”? When we have that chat, we can also talk about the role that Africa played in slavery.

Britain should not pay reparations. We abstained from voting against paying reparations for the transatlantic slave trade in yet another egregious example of this Labour Government’s desperate attempt to curry favour. The transatlantic slave trade was a deplorable and horrific period of history, but it was just that, history. I vehemently disagree with these calls. If we are to be held to account by the UN, so too should those tribes who participated in capturing and selling their enemies and rivals into slavery in exchange for trade, wealth and weapons.

@YawGyegyefo11 You're getting sentimental I never disputed a well known fact that many tribes in Ghana participated in the slave trade. It's also documented that the Ashanti kingdom played key roles in its continuity until the abolition of it. Stating fact isn't hate.

Always hiding behind some "they hate us, Ashanti because we're a great empire". How has the so called greatness transformed your life aside giving you a shallow bragging right? I hate these divisions so much, we're humans. Black, white, yellow, it doesn't matter.

Dear Ghana, the Asante Empire which is now modern day Ghana were leaders of slavery around 1701-1900. They heavily depended on enslaved Africans to sustain their gold, cotton driven economy. Historians conclude that around 6,500 slaves were added to the empire annually. This means Ghana, a superpower then, actually raided inland Africa and enslaved them. They were the ones who supplied the Europeans with enslaved Africa at the Chattel slave trade. So, why is the slave trade the gravest humanitarian sin and not the Africans who enslaved their own? Finally, this sudden “fight” for social justice has all the signals of some international powers pulling the strings. This is a speculation. A wild one. But I know when international giants are using an African nation as their tool. But dear Ghana, slavery was a humanity crime. It is gone, largely. Let Africa now fights its own internal battles of corruption, disregard for the rule of law. These are the real enemies of Africa, not an event that happened 400 years which nobody here today witnessed or experienced.

HISTORY MADE AT THE UNITED NATIONS The United Nations General Assembly has adopted resolution A/80/L.48, declaring the Trafficking of Enslaved Africans and Racialized Chattel Enslavement as the Gravest Crime against Humanity. Standing on the Right Side of History
