As part of their ‘African Adventure’ topic, Yrs 3 & 4 were treated to a visit from the wonderfully talented @annamudeka Anna led a captivating assembly where she performed songs from different parts of Africa before workshops with each year exploring the art of storytelling.

It was great to produce and direct this festival and the young people all did fantastically well with their shows.

🌼 BLOOM FESTIVAL 🌸 ▪️ 584 people took part in Bloom Festival ▪️ 437 audience members came to watch our Youth Theatre double-bill of Kaspar the Wild and Second Person Narrative ▪️ We hosted 14 FREE workshops ▪️ We employed 12 local freelancers Did you take part in one of our workshops or come to watch our Youth Theatre perform? 😁 Let us know what you thought below! Thank you so much to everyone who took part and to our fantastic Creative Learning team for executing this project in one of their busiest times of the year! We loved working with all of the freelancers throughout the festival and we can't wait to see all our Bloom participants again soon! A big thank you to the festival's funders GeeWizz, Anglia Suspended Ceilings, @suffolkcc, @ace_national, Ridley Godfrey and @abbey1080.
