@crena06 Did this start after the apartment flooded? Could these migraines be triggered by mold, mildew, flood damage? Even the remediation process, like Kilz etc.,

Had my follow up appt today, asked the doctor to put me in the hospital and fix me because I have felt that bad. I was also today years old when I found out you can go get a “migraine” bag.

@ThePOTSPostman Was told my suffering was caused by Eve eating the apple. True story, very unsettling and unbelievably horrifying all at once on so many levels.

What’s the most “this can’t be real” moment you’ve had during a medical appointment or procedure? Mine was during a tilt table test. The doctor walked in, diagnosed me with POTS mid-exam and then told the nurse to keep me upright for another 20 minutes.

@crena06 Amazing you got into the one neurologist we have so quickly. Kudos.

So apparently my migraines are no longer just regular migraines. It appears I now have complex migraines which means they mimic strokes. Almost feel dumb for husband call for an ambulance, but Monday was scary. We had no idea what was going on. It did not feel like a migraine.

Found out our 18 year old cat has fluid around his lungs its either congestive heart failure or cancer. Vet says days or weeks left. We are devastated.

@crena06 I'd take 135lbs. But, I am happy at my current weight. Out of everything I am dealing with, that's the least of my worries. Pain and suffering isn't related to my weight and I don't care what others think of me vanity-wise. In the end, it doesn't matter. Being able to eat does.

For example, in the US caregivers may be eligible to be paid bc of a shortage of professional. 4. Research resources to find the availability and affordability of professional care. 5. Take Care of Yourself: Prioritize your health by getting enough rest, eating well, and staying hydrated. It’s essential to take breaks and not push yourself too hard. 6. Use Community Resources: Check out local services that can provide support, such as health aides, housekeeping, or meal delivery services. 7. Communicate with Healthcare Providers: Keep your healthcare team informed about your situation. They can offer advice and may know additional sources of support. 8. Join Support Groups: Connecting with others in similar situations can provide emotional support and practical advice. 9. There may come a time when the next step is to make other arrangements for the patient. No one wants to place their loved ones in an assisted living but that may be the best thing for everyone involved. Especially if the patient becomes combative, if they need to be lifted, or when their care interferes with other relationships. If possible do not make that decision alone. 10. DO NOT FEEL GUILTY. All any one can do is their best. Remember, it is okay to ask for help and take time for yourself. Your well-being is crucial for both you and the person you are caring for.
