@metacolonial That's a poor argument from someone like you. What the alternative to Waghu ? Thermacoal sheets ? That's niether good nor aesthetic. There is over all lack of jobs and meaningful livelihood options in Kashmir. Suggest some jobs for Waghu artisans, for argument sake.

@rouftantrays I don't have great enmity with these rugs per se but we have been doing pretty good without them. People who used to depend on them for survival could easily have more rewarding jobs/means of livelihood. Letting go isn't always hurtful.
