@starmerstie Because you've contributed NI and income tax so you should receive a pension and not be penalised.

Why isn’t the state pension means tested to the same level as say child benefit. If you’re getting an income of 50k a year why can you claim a state pension on top

@spamo23 @1jlatibeaudiere @Coventry_City Move on, u are the 1 who responded after 3 weeks. Go spend some time with ur kids and stop bothering me about Cov. I didn't lose argument! I don't have anything against Cov and I'm glad to see you go up, my point was that we've not missed the players that left 4 you.end of.

@rougemathew @1jlatibeaudiere @Coventry_City 😂🤦‍♂️ loses an argument, so pulls up someone's grammar. Lowest of the low move Just to try and make yourself look superior. Guessing it's the reason you stay faceless on here. But also, Robins had us competing at the top end. So not just Lampard. Thought your new manager was it 🤔

Work harder, get taxed more Build a business, get taxed again Invest wisely, you have to pay up Die & leave something behind, taxed one last time Making a living, creating jobs, building wealth, & leaving a legacy shouldn’t come with penalties at every single stage At what point does it ever stop?

@jbhearn @ProfSteveKeen @YouTube Why is all government spending by the taxpayer when spending could occur without taxes? where is the legislation that says g spending is from taxpayers. G spending comes from the Consolidated Fund before taxes are paid into it.

@rougemathew @ProfSteveKeen @YouTube Incorrect. Steve’s accounting software follows digits around but does not know where they come from or are going to. Current G spending requires taxation, borrowing and printing to finance it. All spending by G is financed by the current and future taxpayer.

@jbhearn @ProfSteveKeen @YouTube Well one of you is correct and the other incorrect. I really don't understand why economists have different "theories" this is so unlike science where u need to empirically prove a theory for it to be credible. So, who has the credible evidence that what they say is correct?

Everyone screams ‘tax the rich more’ But the  top 1% pay 28.5% of all income tax And the bottom 50% only pay 9% of all income tax The problem is not the rich The problem is how much tax is wasted

@DEhnts In the uk, fiscal and monetary policy are separated between the gov. and the "independent" boe. The boe could theoretically fund all gov spending, but that would interfere with it's supposed "independence". If you make both policies the control of gov. that issue goes away.

Famously, Jared Bernstein noticed that the Fed can print money and borrows money. He was not able to explain why the Fed would borrow money if it could print money. The answer is simple: it does not borrow $. youtube.com/watch?v=G7hTQt…

"And when anyone apart from the ECB borrows in euros, we’re going to call this credit" The ECB cannot and does not "borrow in euros". For those interested in questions of money and credit, I recommend Modern Money Theory. #MMT ft.com/content/286bf3…

MMT can only make statements they cannot argue their case.
Ron kline@Ronkline13

@jbhearn I see that Richard Murphy is posting on X again. Emboldened by the Green's adoption of his beloved MMT. No one on the MMT side has successfully challenged you on why the system simply cannot work and never will imo. MMT is the "Kings New Clothes" it appears among the young!

@swansea_indy I fully blame Bellamy (although hindsight is a wonderful). I do believe if he had brought on sheehan and broadhurst instead of Cullen and Harris we would have won that game. Cullen inmidfield is a disaster, he can't control a game. 4 some reason, Bellamy loves them (swans fan)
