@jodyvance @BillTieleman @EasyParkVan Same happened to me last summer. I took pictures, I tried and tried disputing it, they refused to cancel it. They even told me they were refusing further communication with me, closing the case and that I had to pay. If you find a way to get it cancelled, I’d like to know!

This “type” of infraction is not posted and should be illegal. I literally parked between two cars when i arrived. Their proof is s photo of my car 90 minutes later. No WAY. Buckle up, folks. @EasyParkVan is threatening escalation. I willNOT be paying this ticket. #ripoff.

Vancouverites deserve a summertime fireworks celebration. At City Hall, we were incredibly disappointed to learn of the cancellation of the 2026 Celebration of Light. The Celebration of Light is not an ordinary concert or festival, it’s the largest community event in BC. It’s free, it’s family friendly, and a significant contributor to the local economy. That's why I'm excited to be bringing forward a motion to Council that will see the City of Vancouver dedicate $2 million towards a one time, one night fireworks celebration in Summer 2026!
