Finally watched Trap (2024) and sorry to the haters but it’s a good movie. Also Kid Cudi slayed in this Lucius Malfoy wig. Also one of the few films that conveyed how massive fandom can lead to heroic acts through collective action. Most people are inherently good.

This was always my big issue with getting into Mass Effect. It has such a vast universe with so many different aliens and cultures who all have different views and hopes for the future, and all I get to be is either a "good" Space Cop or a bad one

Mass Effect 1 is a game that you could genuinely convince yourself was the adaptation of the world of some door stopper military sci Fi books (probably about the first contact war) and 2 & 3 are clearly just video game worlds for playing video games in

We’ve had *plenty* of RE movies that didnt adapt the source material. We are overdue for a halfway decent attempt at adapting a game with a fully formed story ready to be adapted. Video games are still pieces of art that deserve to have their material taken seriously.
