This piece is to remember one of the most gifted Venezuelan singers/composers, Simón Díaz. When I was a little girl, my grandpa played his songs non-stop, and I loved it! I know almost all of them by heart, and his voice is the voice of my beloved Venezuela. #kidlit #illustrator

I started The Illustration Department Podcast four years ago as a way to help me out of a deep, scary, clinical depression. It (plus therapy, family, exercise, etc.) worked. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for it.
